Alex's Run is a 5K run and community walk.
Runners of all abilities and walkers are welcome!

4-8 pm - T-shirt/ bib pickup and late registration at the Greene Turtle (18101 Town Center Drive in Olney).
Sunday, June 24
7 am - 7:30 am - Onsite registration and check-in
8 am - Welcome remarks
8:30 am - Race start
9 am - 10:30 am - Refreshments & awards given to the top runners in various age groups.

Important Information
1.) Online registration ends Wednesday, June 20th.
2.) After June 20th, individuals can register at the pre-race pick up on Saturday, June 23 at the Greene Turtle (between 4 pm and 8 pm) or on race day at OBGC for $30 (payable by cash or check only).
3.) Those that register by June 13th will be guaranteed a t-shirt. Anyone who registers after that date, shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the pre-race pick up and on race day.
4.) We are pleased to be participating in a shoe drive. A collection box will be set up at Alex's Run for your unwanted/old/ill-fitting athletic shoes. The shoes are sorted by condition & ones with some life left will be shipped overseas so that kids from impoverished communities can use them when exercising. The unelected shoes get ground up for rubber roadbed construction. Please support this worthwhile recycling activity by bringing the running shoes you no longer need to Alex's Run.
5.) The use of headphones, strollers, bikes, and scooters are not permitted on the race course. Please leave your dog at home as they are not allowed at the Olney Boys and Girls Club Community Park nor on the race course.
6.) Alex's Run will be held rain or shine.
7.) Donation checks should be made out to: The Alex Popeck Never Back Down Foundation and mailed to: PO Box 1204, Olney, MD 20830.
